Charlie is a full-time artist based in Southern Utah outside of Zion National Park. For most of the year, he performs as a solo live-looping musician five days a week with residencies at the Cliffrose Lodge, Under Canvas, & Zion Wildflower Resort. His musical stylings are eclectic, drawing on a deep well of influences from the reggae grooves of his youth in Hawaii, his love of classic and modern folk music that tell stories that make a person feel, and a desire to make people get up and move their bodies. He weaves these elements together in real time to blend genres, textures, rhythms, and feel. He also leads a reggae, rock, & groove music project called The Last Light.
